Indiana Broker Exam: Format, Agency Rules and Licensing
Nov 5, 2026
Understand the Indiana entry-level real estate broker exam and keep national content, Indiana law, and licensing deadlines separate. This independent companion explains the handbook-listed 145 total questions and 240 minutes, the 80 national+50 Indiana scored items, and passing at 75 scaled on each portion. The outlines separately describe 5 national and 5–10 state pretest items; do not infer a universal raw passing count.
We compare agency roles, psychological history versus physical-condition disclosure, and the ordinary 90-hour pre-licensing route. The 55-dollar exam attempt and 60-dollar PLA application are separate; tuition and processing charges are extra. The live booking page and older handbook differ on advance booking; confirm your reservation, and distinguish the handbook 48-hour cancellation/rescheduling rule.
New-broker 30-hour post-licensing education and ordinary annual 12-hour CE have separate timing and credit conditions. Check your own license status and expiration.
